Created to help FLO - a retired Military Working Dog (MWD) - cover unexpected medical costs, FLO’s FUND is now helping other MWDs and Service Dogs.

In addition to helping Military Working Dogs in need of medical care, FLO’s FUND also helps support Service Dogs that are partnered with veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Many U.S. veterans are diagnosed with PTSD. They can suffer from fear, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Dogs can help traumatized veterans overcome emotional numbness and ease the hypervigilance common in veterans with PTSD.

 

By providing financial assistance to cover the cost of the dogs, we honor the contribution and importance of MWDs and Service Dogs - helping veterans in need.
